A customer that has own slitting machines "has us do his slitting". The customer was hand cutting 50 yard long rolls (150 feet) x 48" wide using a 1.35 wide steel bar and a hand knife.

The Materials: A High Temperature Silica / Viton Fabric (A high cost fabric at $75.00 plus a yard.) (A very slippery fabric product laminated to the silica material a with a high temperature viton coated rubber backing.)

We developed special a mfg. processes to slit this fabric 1.350 wide x 25 to 26 yards long, to a tolerance of + or - (plus or minus) 0.030

We also doing final slit roll measurements ( 3 times at 2 areas, 3 inside and 3 outside the slit rolls) with statical Q.C. measurement bar graphs charts.
