Price Schedule for Bias and Tapes From Your Materials:

Sun Bias can provide bias, straight, or cross cuts. The minimum on any job is $40.00 or until the per yard quantity is larger. Before sending your goods, be sure to include:

  • signed note authorizing the slitting
  • packing slip or purchase order stating your requirements This will aid in processing your order. Some apparel fabrics are difficult to find the face side, so please cut a small 1/2" sample and staple or tape it face side up to the note, packing slip, or purchase order.

Woven goods with a small or faint rib may cause problems in folders, so please tell us if the ribs are to go across or down the bias.

The machine specifications on our lever bias equipment are: fabric core min. i.d. on paper tube: 1". We can rewind to fit with an extra charge of $7.50 with a minimum 5/8" i.d. x 46".

The average slit width is typically 1-1/2".  Other widths will be quoted.

Price Schedule for Multi Knife Slitting
Cost per roll, assuming typical small roll (less than 17" O.D. rewind) of 1 continuous length. Many times we get rolls that are not taped or bull seamed to join the rolls "within a single roll". For each retape to our rewind shaft add $1.50 per retape to join the roll into 1 continuous roll.

Typical runs on this equipment is for 100 rolls or more due to set up time. Request quote for single or multi knife slitting.
